My name is Matthew Lock. I assist children in improving their English language skills.

Hello! My name is Matthew, and I am from England.

I’ve been teaching English since 2016 and I have a total of eight years of teaching experience . I’ve been teaching online and offline during this time. Before becoming an English teacher I was a scuba diving instructor which also involved classroom and theory.

In addition to my TEFL certification, which certifies me as a teacher, I am also hold a TEYL certification which helps me specialize in teaching young learners.

I employ a fun teaching technique to keep students interested and engaged. I find this system works as it’s important that children enjoy the class and are excited for the next lesson.

I have taught over 1,000 students from all over the globe with many success stories. The ages of my students range from 2 all the way to 50.

I understand that learning a new language is difficult, I known this better than most as I myself went through the struggles of learning a new language. But you need not worry because I am confident that I can guide your child and provide you with adequate English training tailored to your specific needs. We will overcome any fears and difficulties in learning the language together.

My classes are interactive and lots of fun because I am a dynamic, responsible, and highly visual person! It is essential to learn by focusing on objectives and simplifying the language.

Although I enjoy teaching, I also enjoy scuba diving, travel, photography, animals, and discovering new things, I even write my own travel blog on my photography website.

I can adapt to your children, regardless of your language skills or knowledge, and make learning enjoyable.
